JONATHAN STICKLAND ANNOUNCES RUN FOR TEXAS HOUSE DISTRICT 92

Today Jonathan Stickland announced his intention to seek the Republican nomination for the Texas House of Representatives District 92. As a small business owner and devoted conservative Republican, Stickland recognizes the need for conservative leadership in HD 92.

Stickland announced his campaign by stating “As a husband, father, conservative Republican, and someone who has grown up in the HEB area I’m concerned with the direction our state is headed. As State Representative I will fight with courage and conviction for limited government, low regulations, and strong family values. Increasing the quality of education for my children and the children of Texas is also one of my biggest priorities. Raising taxes is not an option and tough decisions have to be made for our State. I believe the voters of District 92 deserve a conservative leader in the Texas House.”

Jonathan attended Richland High School his freshman year and was then a part of the first graduating class from Birdville High School. After high school he began studying sales and marketing at Tarrant County College and then Parkland College before entering the business world. After working for several local small businesses including Prime Pest Management and Mid-Cities Pest Control he went on to start his own small business which provides services and consulting to DFW based Oil and Gas companies.

Jonathan Stickland has been married for 6 years to his wife Krissy and has two children Andie and Carlie. They currently attend First Baptist Church of Hurst where he is a member of the choir and teaches 5th and 6th grade boys Sunday school.
