Over Regulation

Government does not create jobs, but they sure can kill them. Over regulation and taxation do more to hurt our state’s economy than anything else. It is time to let the free market decide who succeeds and fails, instead of picking winners and losers through government regulations and big government politicians. Texas should be a place where anyone can invest their time and treasure to grow their business or trade. Removing red tape will result in job creation and prosperity for all.

-Opposed new efforts requiring new licensing of a profession or trade
