Jobs and the Economy
“We must create a predictable, easy and rewarding atmosphere to attract new jobs and businesses to this great state.”

Our country is hurting economically. Texas has admittedly done better than other states, but we can and must do better. I believe that government cannot create wealth, jobs or grow the economy. We must create a predictable, easy and rewarding atmosphere to attract new jobs and businesses to this great state. This is accomplished by lowering regulations, lowering taxes and returning to true free market principles by ending the process of picking winners and losers through subsidies and exemptions.

I believe that if we allow the free market to regulate itself by keeping government out of the economy as much as possible it will lead to unprecedented growth and job opportunities. In Austin, I will be a voice fighting to unleash the full potential of this state and our economy by pulling government out of the way of small business and entrepreneurs who are the true job and wealth creators.

  • Lower taxes
  • Cut spending
  • Reduce regulation
  • Provide a stable and predictable atmosphere
  • Stop allowing politicians to pick winners and losers
  • Let free market principles work

Family Values
“We can strengthen the families of this great state by returning to the idea of personal responsibility and accountability.”

The family is the foundation of every society and I believe it is under attack. As our government extends itself into our lives it is our families that pay the price. We can strengthen the families of this great state by returning to the idea of personal responsibility and accountability. Protecting the rights of the most vulnerable children in our state is a fundamental principle I will champion in Austin. Abortion must be stopped and I will have a 100% pro-life voting record as your State Representative. I believe marriage is between a man, a woman and God. These are fundamental principles and are essential in maintaining strong families in our state.

Religious freedoms must be defended vigorously. We should return the burden of helping those in need back to individuals, churches and private organizations. In doing so relationships are built, and lives are truly changed in a far more fiscally responsible manner. This will build back and strengthen a sense of community in Texas. I will lead the fight in Austin to ensure that traditional Christian family values are defended and fought for.

  • Defend freedom and liberty for all
  • Protect and defend the unborn in every case and situation
  • Return to personal responsibility and accountability
  • End dependence on government
  • Restore the role and need of churches and private organizations for those in need by getting government out

Limited Government
“I believe we have reached a point in Texas where attempting to put the brakes on the liberal agenda and view of governments role in our lives is not enough.”

Sadly for most, the term limited government has become a term that political candidates must invoke on the campaign trail to be taken seriously. They pay lip service to the idea, but once elected it is thrown away by most until it is time for re-election. This is exactly why government continues to grow year after year. Budgets are getting bigger and bigger and more and more people depend on government to continue their daily lives. I believe we have reached a point in Texas where attempting to put the brakes on the liberal agenda and view of governments role in our lives is not enough. As conservative Republicans we must draw a line in the sand and say no more. Now is the time to push back the liberal agenda and work to shrink government and the budget. I intend to go to Austin to fight for limited government and a return to the constitutional role of governance.

  • Advocate a constitutional view of government
  • Promote more transparency and accountability in state and local government
  • Stand up to Washington power grabs in violation of our State‚Äôs rights
  • Put government back into the hands of the people and out of the hands of disconnected lobbyists and career politicians
