We must realize that we have a spending problem rather than a revenue problem, we must continue to undue our current taxing methods.
Property taxes are literally throwing Texans out of their homes. Instead of discouraging home investments through over taxation, we should lessen the tax burden on families by reducing or eliminating property taxes.
Since it’s inception, the business margins tax has proven to be a big job killer, and it must be repealed. We must stop the practice of crony capitalism and focus on leveling the playing field for all by ending the practice of corporate welfare through tax breaks and incentives. Robbing Peter to pay Paul is wrong.
