Jonathan Stickland Supports the Governor's Texas Budget Compact
This morning we launched my support for the Governor’s Texas Budget Compact. I am proud to support the Texas Budget Compact. These fiscal principles have been at the forefront of our campaign since the beginning. It’s exciting to our Governor support such a strong platform.
Our states future is dependent on the fiscal and moral foundations we stand firm on today. Without fiscal sanity and committing to not raising taxes we leave ourselves open to fiscal failure.
We must defend what God has given us in Texas and that is why the Governor’s Texas Budget Compact is so important. It sets the standard for fiscal discipline and separates true conservatives from the pack.
I am grateful for the Governor’s willingness to stand up for what is right in this situation and am happy to support his leadership on this issue.
